After Congress party faced brutal defeats in assembly elections of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, and had Goa and Manipur stolen right from the below of their noses by BJP, Congress's vice president Rahul Gandhi continues to be a butt of all the jokes on social media.

PC - NDTV

This time a engineering student, Vishal Diwan, from Hoshangabad, Madhya Pradesh has proposed Rahul's name to Guinness book of world record for being defeated in more than 27 elections in India.

Vishal believes that the Congress's downfall in country is somewhere the results of Rahul's active participation in election campaign and media interactions. And thereby he wrote a letter to administration of Guinness book of world records and also paid the enrolment fees for the same. He has also got the letter of confirmation but the administration of book did not confirmed whether they will approve this kind of requests.

Rahul has always been trolled on social media by people for his political speeches and knowledge but this time it is the maximum amount of indignity he might be facing ever. And one can only say that Rahul is suffering from dark phase of his political career.

Five reasons behind BJP's victory in UP!

With Modi-Shah duo, BJP made the spectacular sweep with a two-thirds majority and the largest vote share of any party in UP since 1957. Proving wrong to all those who thought Modi wave is no more, BJP has conquered largest state of country.

Let’s see what were the five major factors which stood behind this victory-

PC-India Today

1) Modi magic - Modi and his aggressive speeches has always been the point of trust in people from 2014 elections. Some political experts even accept Modi is the most popular political leader in India. In addition to this he did back to back rallies in his constituency in UP, Varanasi, and got the tremendous responses from people, which confirmed BJP's victory in UP.

2) Poor opposition - The direct opposition Samajwadi Party was internally feud by their own family members which gave BJP a strong political issue to dominate SP. Moreover SP's alliance with congress did the rest as congress is already facing a falling image throughout the nation. The other opposition party Mayavati's BSP has also failed in doing social engineering.

3) Pro steps - Few pro steps taken by BJP government in past went absolutely in their favour. They used surgical strike effectively to nourish nationalist side of their party. Gas cylinder distribution despite the cooperation of state government and demonetisation, all boosted their image on being against rich and corrupt people.

4) Development agenda - A super development agenda which BJP government delivered in center was another reason for their victory in UP. Under Modi's government India's economy seems to be trending in right direction. Even after demonetisation Modi government managed to maintain good GDP rates.

5) Organisation - BJP managed their campaigning in very controlled and organised manner while SP and BSP were far away from BJP in organising their campaign. BJP organised
88 youth-centric, 77 women-centric, 200 OBC-centric, 18 Dalit-centric and 14 trader-centric events, and held numerous state, regional and sector-level meetings with booth workers. Party also created 4 Facebook pages and 6,608 Watsapp groups to reach to voters. The 'Mann ki baat' campaign started by BJP got 34 lakhs responses.
